Brianna Mayne, Ashley Poddick, Will Frank and I joined together to create a News story about Astronomy Club.  We began by finding a place to interview; we found a beautiful spot right next to the Observatory.  The shot included part of the Observatory, lovely lilac flowers, and a small part of the school in the background.  When the day came to actually do the interview with Brianna, we discovered it was rainy and disgusting out; we decided to move inside to the library.  Unfortunately, this was not our plan, but we made it work.  We interviewed Brianna, Ashley asking the questions, while Will and I watched the camera to make sure everything was situated and working.  once done with that, we headed downstairs and began working on that part of the interview. 

        The next day, our group and Johnny Miceli set up an interview with Jerry Carr at his apartment building's library.  It was amazing hearing all of his intriguing stories about outer-space and his experiences throughout his life.  After the interview, we came back and began editing once again.  

        For B-roll, Will and I took some short videos of the Observatory.  We weren't exactly sure what we needed, so we made sure to get many different shots that we could choose from later.  We got a video of the outside of the Observatory, as well as multiple different shots of the inside, showing off the microscope too.  We also looked up pictures of Jerry Carr and his outer-space experiences to use for B-roll.

        When editing the news/interview, we all began by working together and sharing ideas on how it should be laid out.  Once we figured that out, Brianna took over and began editing more, because we could not all work on it together at the same time.
