This semester, I have been a part of a few different films. I worked on Aisha the Explorer with Aisha and Grace and participated in Parkour with Vivian, Aisha, Fiona, and River.  I as well came up with idea for the horror film about Ted Bundy with Vivian and River.  I also was an extra for BBA Airpods.

For Aisha the Explorer, we spent many days (weeks) trying to problem solve and figure out how to shoot using the green screen.  We practiced using the green screen at school, but after having lots of difficulty with that, we decided to try to use Gnat. We spent one day there, playing around, and ended up getting the shots we needed.  However, after trying to figure out exactly how we would pull this off, we decided to switch it up a bit.  We got footage of our chorus singing the song for us, and we became inspired. We decided to incorporate that footage into the actual film to help with transitions.  I am in love with the final film; it is not what we were expecting or had planned at the beginning of this journey, however it is extremely entertaining and I had so much fun!

Vivian and I had the idea to film Parkour.  We thought it would be super fun and amusing.  We took terns taking the shots while others were in the shot, performing insane parkour tricks (!!). We gathered people during the times we shot, and created a film that will make you laugh.

Vivian and I also came up with the shots and idea for filming Ted Bundy.  We wanted to created something that was scary but also suspenseful. In this film, you may not really know how it ends until you watch it, which is one thing I love about it.

Being an extra in BBA Airpods was very fun.  I was in front of the camera once again, but this time I did not have to worry about setting up or making sure I liked the shot because I was not the one in charged of it.  I have not seen the final film yet though.
